Bharthiya Grameen Mahila Sangha

In a heartening demonstration of unity, service, and environmental stewardship, the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Indiranagar joined hands with the Rotaract Club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan to organize a Joint Sapling Drive aimed at nurturing green spaces and restoring previously planted saplings.
The drive took place across two impactful locations — Bharatiya Grameen Mahila Sangh (BGMS) and a public garden in Belgaum, bringing together volunteers across cities with one shared purpose: to Make It Matter.
🌱 150+ New Saplings Planted
Varieties such as Aloe Vera, Pecoma, and Oleander were planted, chosen for their resilience and environmental benefits.
🌱 Restoration of Existing Greenery
Volunteers carried out essential activities including re-manuring, replanting, trenching, and cleaning, ensuring healthier regrowth for previously planted saplings.
🌱 Joyful Participation at BGMS
One of the highlights of the initiative was the involvement of children from the BGMS orphanage, who enthusiastically joined the volunteers. Their eagerness to plant and learn about nature added warmth and meaning to the initiative.
🌱 12 Dedicated Volunteers Across Two Cities
A committed team of Rotaractors and community volunteers ensured that the activity was executed with passion and purpose.
💚 Unity in Service, Commitment to the Planet
This joint effort was more than a plantation drive — it was a celebration of collaboration, environmental responsibility, and community spirit. By planting new life and nurturing existing green spaces, both clubs showcased their shared dedication to building a greener, cleaner, and healthier planet.
Together, we continue to Make It Matter.
