Miles for Smiles 5K Marathon

The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Indiranagar (RCBI) proudly organized the "Miles for Smiles 5K Marathon" in collaboration with Decathlon on the 12th of January 2025. This event aimed to collect funds to distribute stationery kits to underprivileged students, reflecting our commitment to giving back to the community, aligned with our motto of #MAKEITMATTER.

The marathon commenced at 6:00 AM at the Defence Colony Ground in Indiranagar, with a turnout of up to 270 enthusiastic participants aged between 18 and 70 years. The registration fee for participants was set at Rs. 199. The event was successfully marketed through various platforms, including Book My Show, Instagram, and other social media channels.

Participants received certificates for completing the marathon, further motivating them to contribute to this noble cause. The funds raised from this event will be utilized to provide essential stationery kits to government school students, ensuring they have the necessary tools for learning.
