Empowering young minds to take control of their financial future

8 November 2025

Online: Zoom

The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Indiranagar hosted an enriching virtual session, Finance With RCBI, on November 8th, 2025, bringing together 33 eager attendees from across India — mainly from Bangalore and Mumbai. The audience included college students and early-career professionals looking to strengthen their understanding of personal finance and take smarter steps toward financial independence.

The evening began at 6:03 PM, with Project Chair Bharath G S welcoming everyone, outlining the flow of the session, and introducing the speaker — Mr. Adheip Pai, Co-founder of Fabits.

Once Mr. Adheip Pai took over, the session transformed into a practical, easy-to-follow journey through the essentials of managing money. He introduced the concept of goal-based saving, broke down commonly misunderstood finance terminology — equity, debt, emergency funds, liquid funds, and more — and helped participants view their finances through a structured and strategic lens.

To make the learning experience tangible, he guided attendees through a custom personal finance template, encouraging them to reflect on their own financial habits. This template, shared later with the participants, became a valuable takeaway for planning and tracking their financial goals.

The session concluded with an extended, interactive Q&A, where attendees asked thoughtful questions, clarified doubts, and explored real-world financial scenarios relevant to their lives.

Finally, Project Chair Bharath and Co-Chair Varsha delivered a warm vote of thanks — expressing gratitude to the speaker and acknowledging the support of the collaborating clubs: Rotaract Club of Bangalore Oasis, Chembur West Mumbai, Surana College South End, and Falcon Youth.

With insights gained and confidence strengthened, participants walked away more prepared to navigate their financial journeys — because understanding your money is the first step to making it matter.
